Damage and returns

Warranty terms:

Easy Office Furniture accepts product returns under the following conditions:

  • The goods are damaged, defective, incorrectly supplied, or do not match the product order.
  • The goods are returned within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • The invoice number is provided with the return request.

All returned goods are subject to evaluation by Easy Office Furniture. Returns may be refused at the company’s sole discretion, as permitted by Australian Consumer Law or any applicable legislation.

For goods returned due to customer preference (unwanted goods), returns and credits are at the discretion of Easy Office Furniture. A restocking fee of 15% of the invoice value will apply, and the customer is responsible for freight costs associated with the return. Approved returns will only be credited if the goods are in their original condition, in original packaging with all accompanying instructions, and from an in-stock range.

Futile deliveries

If a project or installation is refused at the point of delivery, a futile delivery or trip charge may be applied. The charge for a futile installation is $750.00 per day. Re-delivery will only occur upon receipt of a purchase order.

Title
Ownership of the goods will transfer to the customer only after the goods have been paid for in full.

Inspection
All goods must be inspected upon receipt. Written notice of any damage or non-compliance with specifications must be provided to Easy Office Furniture within 2 business days.

Cancellations
Cancellations of orders are only accepted for in-stock items and must occur before the delivery date. Specially ordered goods cannot be cancelled. Any freight or administrative costs incurred prior to cancellation may be passed on to the customer.
